A severe head injury, caused by a headbutt to the curb, caused the inability to walk independently to passionate basketball player Bor.
Not only with the difficulty of walking, but also with the coordination of the movement, Bor became independent and dependent on the help of his loved ones due to injury.
Despite some progress at Ljubljana’s Rehabilitation Institute in Soca, Bor was still unable to walk on his own after robotic rehabilitation in Slovenia, but was addicted to a low walker, and returning to basketball was only a distant dream.
With the help of parental sacrifice, financing of slovenian health insurance (ZZZS) and with indescribable will and effort in daily intensive therapies and exercises on robotic devices according to GLARTH protocol, Bor has made rapid progress every week.
Step by step, progress by progress, our Bor now walks independently and most important to him, he plays basketball with pleasure and scores his tys… and in parallel he “earns” A’s at the first gymnasium Kajuh Celje.
